Terms of service.

Effective Date: 7/18/25

Thank you for choosing Dale Millard as your private chef. Please read the following terms carefully before booking.

1. Booking Policy

  • All bookings must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of the desired service date.

  • I accept only one booking every three (3) to four (4) weeks. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Deposit and Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking.

  • The deposit will be applied toward your total service cost.

  • All payments must be made through the website via invoice.

  • Full payment is due no later than 72 hours before the scheduled service.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service will forfeit the $50 deposit but will not incur additional charges.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable in full, including the deposit and any additional payments made.

4. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Rescheduling within 48 hours of the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

5. Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

  • Clients are required to disclose all food allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

  • While every effort will be made to accommodate dietary needs and allergens, I cannot generally accommodate more than two (2) allergens at a time. (e.g. : shellfish, dairy, and then gluten)

  • The chef is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from undisclosed allergies or sensitivities.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must ensure that kitchen facilities are clean, safe, and functional.

  • The chef reserves the right to refuse service if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

7. Service Limitations

  • Services are provided for private, non-commercial events only consisting of no more than four (4) guests at a time.

  • The chef reserves the right to decline service for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns or non-compliance with these terms.

8. Agreement

By booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
